About Casey

Casey has always loved art. She was lucky enough to grow up with parents who nurished her creativity, giving her all the art supplies she could ever want. In her teens, Casey spent two amazing summers at Bucks Rock Creative and Performing Arts Camp learning everything from jewelry making, to glass blowing, to batiking, to sewing, and every other media in between.

Casey attended college at the Rhode Island School of Design, taking more rigorous studies involving fine art and design (as well as learning how to make giant puppets). After four amazing years at RISD, as well as summers in various internships focusing on the film industry, Casey graduated with a BFA in Film, Animation and Video.

For two years, Casey worked as a production assistant on various projects including the television show, "Fringe". But Casey's creative juices weren't satisfied in that role. Casey enrolled backed in school, discovering her true bliss, teaching. After graduating in 2012 with a masters in art education, Casey began working at a school in Westchester NY where she couldn't be happier. In her new position as film teacher and school videographer, she's be able to merge her love for both teaching and film.

Besides teaching art and creating her own pieces, Casey enjoys watching sci fi, baking, costuming, and keeping her parents hip to the newest internet crazes.
